My CTR - Milano Red *Parts at the painter*

Hi there,

I promised to send some pictures, hopefully its ok to copy it from another forum (And hopefully it'll work fine).

One of my best token picture has been shot, after cleaning my car. Just to see if all got shiny
When I saw the picture, I loved it. Maybe I'm lucky at shoot another one later with all my updates (I'm not that talented in Photoshoots)...http://img529.imageshack.us/img529/6279/img1928.jpg

First of all, I bought the Honda Grand-Prix Front Spoiler... Nothing special anymore
Next update was the rims... I've waited about half a year for delivery but finally got them ^^
It's Barracuda Karizzma Matt-Black Pure Sports with Color Trim (red) in 8x18 Offset 40.
http://img359.imageshack.us/img359/313/img2096l.jpg

Actually, it's a nice rim, but after driving a year with that matt-black I'm searching for something more exclusive. Maybe if I can sell the Barracuda, I'll buy some new ones

Later I bought a second-hand Cupspoiler for front and sideskirts.
To match with the Grand-Prix Frontskirt, I'll paint it the same black... But found no time at all ^^ Maybe the next weeks I hope.
I tried to take a good looking picture of it, but it's always look very differenz... Live its way more aggressiv than shown at the picture..
At the moment, I've only mounted the front Cupwing. The Sidewings are already painted, but I've got absolutely no time to mount.
I'll promise I'll do this within the next 2 month
http://img34.imageshack.us/img34/6884/img2219f.jpg

Well...
After buying the car in February 2008 I paid a company to creat a unique Catback-Exhaust System for me. I paid about 1000EUR for this and what I've got was totally bad.
The Sound was... like stock, even after I removed the middle silencer. SO I decided to get another, new one with Performance.
I bought the Blueflame Performance Exhaust (as the first one in Germany... Another time to get an Exhaust without Reviews) and was totally amazed
Quiet loud and relly sporty. I love it every new day Unluckily its too big, so it hits the Springs in the back, but I'll fix that soon.
http://img24.imageshack.us/img24/6787/img2228s.jpg

Here's a small Soundvideo... Token after mounting the Exhaust. At the moment it got a bit louder... But you now... It always sounds better when hearing it live

Searching EBay for long I found a Takata Seatbelt... It was mine
http://img84.imageshack.us/img84/5499/img2266a.jpg

... At the moment, I've removed it... cause its quiet illegal to use in Germany (But who cares? I'll mount it again next week).

Some special features are at the Trunk, but see for yourself
http://board.civic-fx.net/download/f...28Large%29.JPG

Within the time I mounted a Mugen QuickShifter... Got no Pictures, cause there is nothing to see

Last week I finally got the big box from Touge Distribution with Mugen and J's Racing parts Most of it is already mounted...
The FRP Parts are at the painter at the moment... Hopefully I can mount them fast again.

http://img140.imageshack.us/img140/8...g2311large.jpg
http://img513.imageshack.us/img513/7...g2312large.jpg
http://img27.imageshack.us/img27/9808/img2320large.jpg
http://img15.imageshack.us/img15/4337/img2326large.jpg
http://img268.imageshack.us/img268/4...g2327large.jpg

J's Racing Circuit Pillar Bar (mounted)
http://img697.imageshack.us/img697/6...2332largej.jpg
http://img685.imageshack.us/img685/1...g2334large.jpg

J's Racing Front-Tow Hook...
http://img31.imageshack.us/img31/5796/img2341large.jpg

J's Racing Front Strut Bar... Actually they say, it doesn't fit at the LHD Civic. But you only have to loosen one screw with the Gear-Oil Tank.
http://board.civic-fx.net/download/f...w/CIMG0036.jpg

And finally... the Mugen Rear Bumper
I just mounted it shortly to see if it fits... I have to say, it fits even better then the original bumper

http://board.civic-fx.net/download/f...1273876897.jpg
http://board.civic-fx.net/download/f...1273876969.jpg

Thats all for now... (Wrote a lot again...)
I'm looking forward to comments... even positive and negative

Regards
Marc

Ok the painter did something wrong and the red parts of the bumper turned into a light pink...
So I'll have to wait again

I'll buy some new Breaks this week. It'll be Tarox F2000 Discs at Front and Rear ()
with Ferodo DS Performance at the Front and EBC Red Stuff at the Rear.

Next thing are some new tires... I'm not sure what to buy... Actually I'm between Federal RS-595 and Toyo R888...
At first I was looking at the Yokohama A048 but the price in Germany is a bit too high
Toyos are 100EUR cheaper, Federal 150EUR...
Hopefully I'll find someone who want to buy my old rims... When they are sold, I'll go on for Work CR Kai

Regards

Oh yeah Because I've got a LHD Car, I'll have to change the position of the Gear Fluid Can... But its only 1 screw that must be losen So its really easy fitting!

Total work of... 20 Min. for both Bars.
I'm still not sure which Tyre I should use... Both did good work at the Nurburgring so its even harder to decide.

Ok I'll install them again soon.

To mount I used a trick The Bolt next to the Middle-Console (don't know the English name, sorry) doesn't fit, so I bought some Adapter which are normally used for Freeclimbing These are strong enough to be save and works better at this position.

I'll do some detailed Photos when mounting them again. It'll all be done when the Bumper arrives

Update

Tarox F2000 and Break Pads mounted... And new Pictures of my Takata Seatbelts... hopefully its enough, otherwise just ask, if you have any Questions.

Break Discs Front (with Ferodo DS Performance and painted Type-R Logo)

Rear Break Discs (Tarox F2000 with EBC Black Stuff Ultimax)

Complete View at Front Wheel

Selfmade Mounting Seattrail
http://img69.imageshack.us/img69/3202/img2359medium.jpg

The Selfmade Mounting Tool is a Hook, normally used for climbing. I bought this, because the bolt-screw is too big to mount between Middle-Console and Seat and this one won't break at a crash. I bought it only for 4
Any Questions about the Belts, just ask

Maybe because it is fake... I didn't know when I was buying, actually it only stays in that car until I've got the money to buy a new one (at Touge... It's where I believe I get Original ones!).

It was... 200EUR for the fake ones, so throwing away would be a shame.
Actually I don't use the Belt often... Normally I still fasten the normal seatbelt (I feel much more safe with that).

But... Mounting is no difference Even an Original Boltscrew won't fit between the Seat and the middle-Console

Red My CTR - Milano Red *Mugen Bumper mounted*

I finally mounted the rear bumper...

Actually... I will never do that again! Shorten the Wheel Arch wasn't tough, but getting it into the Rear Bumper was I fight!
Maybe there is a trick or something, but it took me about 4 Hours to mount everything right...

Here is the result:

Front Bumper can't be mounted... In Germany the Light-Washers are strictly needed. The Mugen Bumper doesn't have some (or the holes for them).

Its too risky to cut the holes by myself... So I'm searching for some other parts. Maybe the Hood and the Roof Spoiler (if I get a chance to get it street legal).

Thats the shame about Germany... Nearly nothing is street legal if you change anything.
