Thumbs up I made a thing (Splitter)

Ello all,

I ordered some ABS plastic to make a splitter, unfortunately when it arrived it was 1600mm long and my FN2 is around 1800mm min. So I decided to make the best of a it and used Epoxy and bodyfiller, as well as some metal brackets to extend the material.

I'm really surprised it turned out as good as it did, almost looks stock. It was damn hot today and I've got a bit of heat stroke but....totally worth it

https://imgur.com/dAjkgsb (Still can't seem to insert an img into posts, "Insert Image" just leaves a blank space...?? I'm probably being stupid. )

Now I need to give the car a good wash, got covered in dust from sanding the Splitter!

Nice job, Looks "properly manufactured" from here

Good to see some creativity; What's next?

Indeed, it's good to see someone fab'g their own mod's for the racetrack...but for road use this looks evil. I wouldn't like to see how it copes with a pedestrian.

It certainly wouldn't pass IVA (or whatever they call it these days) and I wonder how it will fair during an MOT?

Update: MOT rules;

"2.1 Body, vehicle structure and general items
These will be inspected to check that:

they’re free from excessive corrosion or damage in specific areas
there are no sharp edges likely to cause injury"

All the edges are rounded over, not sharp in the slightest really. Should be fine.
