Talking He's here!!

Here he is, picked him up this afternoon at 4pm, so I thought I'd post the pics I took of him (why am I calling 'it' a 'him'??) before the sun went down. It'll probably never look as pristine as it does today, so wanted to mark the occasion with a pic on the forum (and I only joined the day before yesterday!)

I'm new to Honda and am well impressed so far (apart from a paint niggle which the dealer is really good about and I'm sure will get sorted).

Must admit I've been using the auto mode mostly, but when I've used the "manual" it seems more smooth than the auto. I'm not sure whether mine has the upgraded software, but as I picked it up today and it was delivered at the dealership on Wednesday, I hope it has! Now I know why people call it a spaceship. Don't you love that display?

How are you finding the i-Shift mate?

Still to give it a good run but so far so good
Dealer says that our car has had the upgrade and it does certainly feel smoother than the car we testdrove

Happy Motoring

Yes, colour coding would be better, but I don't think it's that bad, particularly in the black. I saw a chap picking up his Type-R at the same time as me, and it looked v nice. But in the black it didn't look markedly different (at least, not to me). The Type-S GT won over the Type-R as I've been there and done that and wanted a bit more practicality but still stylish - if you know what I mean.

Note to myself: check with the dealer next week whether it's had the upgrade

i to thought the same about the grey trim. it looks very nice colour coded, but as a friend pointed out, these areas are prone to lots of stone chips and wont look very good after a few thousand miles when they have lots of chips, or worse still, peeling paint. after this was mentioned the grey trim looked that much better.

time will tell, lets see who moans about the high amount of chips in these areas.

Cheers mate - thanks for comments. We had the car "at cost" which was less or more than 1k and the dealer gave me a really good deal on my part ex. Better than the previous three Honda dealers I'd visited

I'll be getting the Meguiar's out very soon!!

I hope Type-R buyers don't get problems later (I'm sure they won't - let's face it, they're lovely), but I'm playing safe

I've tested these auto sensing wipers, and they are GREAT!

In other cars I'm allways fideling about with the wipers, but in my Civic, it is allmost like magic!
I am truly impressed by them!

Excellent! I had them in my last car (French one, please don't hate me ) and they were usually good! I'm looking forward to seeing the wipers in motion too! They look cool

Cheers dude. Just got in after a little drive. I hate parking sensors, but having just reversed into my space and thinking I was just about to hit the bins, then checking and realising I was quite a way off them, I may be coming round to wanting some
