Talking My Oil Burner after a good clean

Just spent the day cleaning, then clay baring, then polishing her so though I best take some pics and share them with fellow civic lovers.

First time i have ever clay bar'd a car but i'm very impressed!! shes silky smooth now and the amount of crud it took off supprised me!

Now all i need to buy is some cleaner for the black trim bits and i will be sorted!

Wow looks great!
Which clay kit did you use? I'm thinking of trying a clay bar for the first time but don't know which one to go for.

clay

I used the Bilt Hamber soft auto clay after doing some reading around and chatting to a few friends who are car cleaning enthusiasts.

you can find it here and there is a discount code here

I was impressed at the fact it just needs water as the lubricant, gave it a quick polish for now to protect it again but have got plans to give it a good old machine cut and polish in a few weeks and the build up a could of layers of wax to protect her for the winter roads

Finish it with some Bilt Hamber Autobalm OR Bilt Hamber Finis Wax

Thanks mate, I think I'll give it a try next week. Let's hope the weather stays nice though!
