Smile US Civic Si Sedan

Here are a few photos of my 2010 Si Sedan. Definitely different from the FN2. Unfortunately, it's the best that Honda offered the US at the time of purchase. Hope you enjoy!

Thanks! I currently have a K&N drop-in filter and a Mugen quick-shifter. I'm researching a possible dash swap from an FN2. Not sure how that will pan out. Otherwise, just keeping it clean and simple.

Dash swap sounds complicated. Not sure if it would fit but im sure someone on here will know.

Very nice but very different to the euro civic.
Good to see that you dont all drive automatics over in the USA

I'm unsure about the dash fitting, as well. I figure start simple and try to get some measurements of both dashboards and center consoles. Anything could fit with the right amount of work, but I also want it to flow nicely.

I've only had one automatic and I never plan on another. The Si's only come in 6-speed, thank goodness!

I'm sure a drop will happen, eventually. I'd also like a TSX/Accord Euro-R (or maybe even Type-R) brake swap. The Si brakes are a little weak.

very nice!

The dash isnt that different to our (european) civic... apart from the air vents and that cubby hole above the radio...... seems like a lot of hassle for something that looks similar..

I agree that it's very similar, but the European dash is much more elegant. Many US Civic owners spend anywhere from $2,000-$10,000 USD on the FD2 conversions. While that might be an easier swap, I spend more time looking at the interior of my vehicle than the exterior. Why not enjoy the drive a little more?

Very nice.

The last time I was in the states we were driving from New York to Boston and a convoy of tuned Civics passed us on the interstate, some lovely modded Civic's and what looked like DC5's but badged as something else.....

It's a pretty fun car to drive. Handles better than the Si coupes we have.

Over here the DC5's were sold under the Acura label as an RSX. There's a base model and a Type S.

Here's a couple more with a buddy of mine. He has since sold his Civic and is looking into an AP2 S2000.
