Nice tidy sleeper there relic!
Bet its fun making those BMW and AUDI drivers red faced when all that torque rockets you forward.
Has it been lowered?

Cant really drive it in anger really until I have had the road dyno confirmed at TDI south may 5th.

This is the standard OEM civic fitted with Clutch... uprated air filter ???... Stage 3 Celtic tuning remap and modified turbo.
vs. NunoCTR 240 bhp dyno.
Max torque is at 2800 and max power at 4000rpm fro the typical mapped diesel.
The FN2 is typically 5600 and 8000rpm.
So I have scaled the diesel revs exactly 2x and overlaid the BHP curve.
This way you can see a direct correlation with the in gear power curves between the two cars.

Unfortunately with the ramair and intercooler upgrades and OEM turbo.
I seem to be about 406 lb ft @ 2800 rpm rather than the 336 lb ft of the Celtic car above.
So my midrange is (2800rpm diesel 5600rpm FN2) about 20% greater.... if the road dyno software is right.
Max power on both mine and the celtic car is around 228bhp.

If this is the case it will have to be detuned.... haflshafts, gearbox, DMF and clutch wont last long at those torque levels IMO.

Power seemd down a bit.... forgot how much an impact 3 men in a car can have
Still surprised how a good a car the 1.8 is.
Those who say the 1.8 has no low down torque or acceleration.... its crap ... pulls fine.
