30mm eibach springs and Sisters new DS3

Sister just turned 21 and because shes got a such a nice big brother I drove down to Bournemouth and picked up her car which was a suprise for her birthday. The DS3 is fantastic to drive. This is the 1.6T model and the engine felt great. Because I was a bit jealous I thought I would treat the R to some 30mm eibachs and here are the results.

Maybe the comment is because you can see your sis in the reflection of the last pic!

Lovely pics Tom, your car is LLOOOOOWWW!!! I'm still debating over whether to go for 15 or 30mm, all ready having trouble with cambers and bumps around here as it is..

The DS3 is cool, interior looks so funky, seen some nice colour options on the roads.

Yea i realised that when I saw the last photo she went off for a drive and took that one.

Its not actually as low as I thought it was going to be, I've taken off the bits of plastic under the front bumper and I haven't scrapped on anything yet and I've been over some decent sized potholes and speedbumps.

I'm not sure how long it takes for the sus to settle but i'm hoping it drops a bit more, glad I didnt go for the 15mm ones as I dont even think I would recognise it had been lowered.

Cant praise these springs enough though for how it transforms the cars handling and ride quality. It makes the type-r a much more pleasurable place to be, my only regret is that I didnt get them done sooner!

That DS3 doesn't look half bad. I never noticed the DS3 logo on the boot before, but it looks very cool.

Oh, and the CTR looks good as well.

What about FRS Tom? Have you got that or got any plans for it?
It will settle over time and look a tad lower than that. In my opinion it does look low enough! Compared to my high rider any way :/

I'm not keen myself, I don't like the way wheels sit in the arches, the gap looks too big at the bottom.

I wish they did the springs without the lower ride.

No one else feel like being honest? The DS3 is one of the ugliest cars I have ever seen.. lucky no one will look at it with that awesome CTR close by.

I'm not keen on the DS3 in greys or blacks, has to be a bright colour to show it off.

It's not that ugly... But I do hate those DRL's... I don't know which stupid did decide to put them like that in the DS3...??

Stunning drop on the FN2 though!

I had mine lowered 30mm recently and I have the same thoughts too the back didn't really look low afterwards but once the springs settle the wheels look right at home (still not low enough for me lol!)

I haven't taken my front flaps off yet and again like you, haven't bottomed out on any pot holes.

Glad you're liking the springs, doesn't the car feel so much more planted round corners now!

Edit: My wife originally wanted a DS3 but thought the Fiat 500 was cuter!!

Can someone please confirm this...
Is this the Eibach kit that lower CTR 15mm from standard height: E10-40-011-01-22 ?
Thanks.
I am considering the 15mm Eibach's for ride quality only, not really interested in lowering and also a bit concerned that my arches are going to rub with my wheel offset! Pics are with stock springs, maybe she has sagged a bit?

Yea, its on the list. My problem is I live so far away from TDI or ABP to be able to do it!

Think i'm going to do the brake lines/fluid/pads next.

Yea you are probably right its low enough haha.

Im most impressed with how less crashy it is on the bumps, much more pleasurable to drive now! But yea, it is also very very planted in the corners Loving them!
