17" Alloys and Other Upgrades

I've just done some more pictures of the car with the 17" Type S alloys that I bought yesterday and the new Honda Gear Knob and leather gaiter.

Picture 1 is the car with the standard 16" wheels before the change and Picture 9 is of the standard gear knob before the upgrade.

I'm very pleased with the way the car looks now but note to self - "must stop spending money now!"

Thanks dancivic. I went for a quick blast down the Vale of Belvoir to see if there was any difference in the ride with the 17s on and to be honest I actually think it rides better than with the 16s on. That might be me wanting that but at the very least it isn't any worse than before which is great news.

I love the leather interior of this car and was probably the main reason I went for this one over the others I looked at. The cabin is a very nice place to sit and makes the long trips very comfortable.

Thanks regan1985. I posted this pic because of the reflection in the paintwork. All that cleaning does pay dividends when you get pics like this!

No effects, window down and right hand holding the camera. 1/125 or 1/60 shutter speed

Nikon D90 + Sigma 10-20mm wide angle zoom.

Thanks nelson_moreira. Yes I ordered this from the local Honda dealer (Grantham Honda) and fitted it myself (not difficult). I think it was 83.40 inc VAT but it is soooo much nicer than the standard one. The aluminium facing is great (very tactile) and the perforated leather matches the seats I have in the car. I can recommend it.

The gaiter is the Audi TT one from eBay (5.95 or something like that).
