My Bronze Type S GT 1.8

Well i've been a member of this forum for a little while now and thought its about time I shared some pics with you.

I Part ex my EP3 Type R for a bronze Type S about 12 months ago because my new job meant I have to travel much further. I do miss my Type R and will have another - if I can get some shares in BP!

New beast:

Day I purchased...

...and after a quick clay and polish to get rid of the ***** stuff the dealers use..oh and a new grill fitted!

Thanks to everyone who has helped with all my questions so far, top site!

She does drive very well, even better than my other halfs c30 r-design, faster too! Have a slight niggle at the moment, got a knocking noise over rough roads. ive just had roll bar bushes replaced and drop links were done about 12months ago, so im going to replace bump stops when i put eibach springs on in a couple of weeks

a big update : )

Well its been a while since i posted any updates on my car, mainly because I have been saving! Like most of you on here my Civic's bonnet was absolutely pebble dashed and it has been bugging me for ages! So when my car needed to go into the body shop to have a repair done to it - thanks to some silly old sod destroying the drivers side in a car park, I payed for the body shop to fill, prime and spray the bonnet, bumper, side skirts and arches. I also got them to spray the passenger side too, which was suffering from a shoddy "smart" repair!

I have also popped on some Penta alloy wheels.

What do you guys think?

I agree with you, but i think already the fact of going for a painting which is different from Honda's genuine makes already a big difference.

All he need now, is to keep it clean, by waxing it oftenly!!

I had mine mugen fenders & mugen bonnet painted different to honda paint & believe me it still gets affected its the shape of the front end on the car & only way of protecting the new paint i was on my way to get mine clear wrapped & only 1 mile from my house & still managed to get a little chip on my bonnet & i had extra coats of paint on & laqure just my luck

Thanks mate! Since its hard to mod the 1.8 performance wise without some serious cash, i thought i'd save the money and put it towards making the paint look perfect! DBP looks awesome in the sun!

I have thought about applying some Plastidip over the bumper and bottom half of the bonnet before winter sets in. My bro in-law's garage has a spray booth and all the gear, so should be able to get a good finish. Then i can just peel it off in the summer and show off my lovely paint again!
