My FK2 1.8 i-VTEC Civic

Hello,

I picked up my new Civic 2 weeks ago after selling my DC2 Integra R. Really enjoy the ride, although it is obviously not as fun to drive as the ITR.

I mounted the Grand Prix image pack this weekend, together with the oem honda concert pack (love the sound). today I got my new rims, the 19" Rage rims from the R. I haven't got the tires yet, and I'm quite nervous about the fitment of these. They are big

I'm going to get the typeR grille as well, and maybe type R taillights.

I really want an aftermarket exhaust system, and i'm considering buying H&R's height adjustable coilover kit. I just have to count my money first, cars are really expensive here in Norway, as we have very high taxes. My car with the rims and the packs is about £29 000

Here are some pics (it's dirty) on a trip to the spectacular area called Trollstigen in Romsdalen, Norway.

Will post more pics when I get the wheels mounted and the new grille.

(No, it wasn't us leaving all that rubber on the tarmac )

This shows why I want to replace the exhaust

I never expected Norway to be such a Honda enthousiatic country until I went there 2 years ago. I remember seeying a lot of tuned Honda's.

Nice country, gorgeous scenery. Great roads to go for a spin.

Yes, Honda is getting more and more popular over here, and I think it's great. The scenery is quite nice yes, but unfortunately the quality on the roads is not very good everywhere. But you should definetely take a trip here one summer

I look forward to posting more pics as this car is shaping..

yeah, I have to thank my mate Arvid for the pics, they are really great!
wish I could take pics of that quality myself

Ordered the OEM type R grille today, looking forward to getting it
also noticed I've got to small stone ships on the bonnet...not very happy about that as the car is only 2 weeks old. But well, **** happens I guess.. will touch it up and rub it a little, hope it will be ok..

Yesterday I went to Sunndalsøra, visited my friend Arvid, who took some more photos. Here is the first one I've got. This one is taken inside a 6km tunnel. Cool

thanks!
Hoping to post more pics as soon as i get them
Yes, I am very careful on bumps, but by now i can't say that i am anything other than pleased with the wheels. I've got economy tires (Nankang NS2), but they work better than original fitted 225/45-17 Michelin primacy on tire noise. I really haven't noticed that the car is less comfortable either.

They are fantastic pictures your friend took.
But your Civic was definitely upstaged in the 4th photo. That is one fantastic looking, original and clean classic Impreza. The 1999-2000 model is the best looking of the lot. The only mod I would recommend to the owner of that would be some nice clear indicator lens for the front and side indicators and STI rear lights.

yeah, that is a nice car. I like the cossie escort as well, and the CRX is already mentioned. My second car is a black CRX ed9 with b16a engine, those cars are fun, and i think it will overtake that WRX.
