my NHB Civic 2.2 CDTI

Well after 2 years and 3 months of ownership of my 02 Milano EP3 Civic type R I finally bit the bullit and went for somthing more economical (i hope) to run.

heres the pic of my old EP3 CTR:

It was a pleasure to own and drive her but the running costs in the current economic climate were getting too high e.g tax (£260 PA, Insurance, Petrol etc)

So over the weekend I purchased a NHB 2.2 CDTi - to keep it HONDA all the way.

Engine: 4-cyl, 2204cc, 16v, turbodiesel
Max power: 140bhp @ 4000rpm
Max torque: 251lb ft @ 2000rpm
0 - 60mph: 8.6sec (claimed)
Top speed: 127mph (claimed)

Still no slouch and the torque and accelaration at 2ooorpm has to be seen to be beleived. Its great to have a 'newer' car which looks good, is economical and is cheaper to run.

Here she is after a good clean. sorry about the crappy camera pics. Do not plan to mod her much maybe a remap to take her to 190bhp and changed the sidelights for leds to match the xenons.

I'm a big fan of the 2.2. Especially when I tax it I'm still surprised .

If you do nothing else, fit Eibach lowering springs, and have a full FRS done - also upgrade the brakes (pads \ hoses \ fluid) ...

Cheap and very effective mods - they transform the ride and handling ...
