2007 Civic Type S GT

Here is my 2007 Type S GT diesel.

Purchased it on Friday and i absolutely love it!

Drove other cars in its class, Golf GT tdi, Audi A3 tdi etc and although they were good, the Civic is just miles better.

Interior is far superior to most cars on the market i find, the ride is firm and holds the rode like glue. As for the engine it has absolutely masses of torque in every gear - i've been booting it everywhere all weekend and still averaged 48mpg! Done my first motorway trip today, only 120 miles mind but got 64mpg cruising at around 70/75. AMAZING!

The car at the moment is totally standard, although i have the following mods planned...

Full colour coding.
Type R grill.
New rims (black ones)
Red calipers
Smoked headlights (possibly)
LED interior lighting (red i think).
Xenons.

The above mods are simple and i reckon i can get them all done for about £1500. Going to go for a 'Stealthy' look.....

When ive got some more cash post Christmas im going to go for a re-map. Celtic Tuning is in Newquay about 20 mins from home so not to far to go either.

I'll keep you all posted on progress.

Cappo.

Edit: What do you think folks?

You won't go wrong with the car mate, mine was as good as gold.
Do a bit of reading up on here regarding the clutch before you go a mapping though.

Eco display
you can have yourself £***** if you buy stuff of the forum trust me,that what i did. colour coding cost me £400 grill £100 wheels about £200 as i sold the old ones at the same time.

other things to add would be clear rear lights imo and lower the car 25mm.

if your going for performance you can spend £300 on a map but you will need some other things which you should read into before going into it.

good luck

Cheers for the heads up guys.
I'll be posting a weekly review on Friday - so far i'm loving it!!

Pedy the car has done just over 50k miles. Not slipping at all as of yet and if it starts too im under warranty for 12 months. Not going to map for ages yet, the power & torque is more than enough for the minute!
Thanks again chaps!
