My cosmic grey i-CDTI SE

Had my nearly new Civic for 3 weeks (done 2900 miles!).

It is also a great towcar!!!!

It sure looks like it is loaded up with the bikes and caravan. Do you remove the roof rack when its not in use?

While away, the rack (Thule one) stays on as on and off takes about 15 mins and you need somewhere to put it! but as soon as back home then the rack is back off for wind noise and fuel economy's sake.

After reading other posts about releasing handbrakes, I can assure you it is left in gear.

Our other car is a Corsa, and parking on our drive even in gear clogs up the rear drums and stretches the cable
