My 2.2 Type S GT, and 2 previous Type R's!

Hi guys, picked up my Civic yesterday. First impressions are i adore the interior, what a massive step up from a DC5 and EP3 lol. Got a little bit of poke which im pleased with. Doesn't sound like a derv once on the move, but it's not exactly a patch on the Teg hehe. Pleased with it.

It's done 27k miles, so low miles, really good condition just a tiny bit of kerbing on 1 wheel. Also got a towbar fitted. 1 owner from new, FHSH.

Only plans on the Civic are decent gear gaitor and maybe a Type R knob.

I have 1 question. The brakes look like they will need doing soon, will OEM DC5 discs fit the Civic? with oem pads. Also how much is it for a set of braided hoses for the civic, the brake feel is a bit crap, but then im used to uprated breaks on the Teg that ripped ya face off.

Thanks.

Old DC5. Had a few mods, lowered on Eibach springs, Kenwood DD w nav, kakimoto Regu06, K100, Tegiwa Airbox.

Thanks guys, yeah the DC5 looks so awesome.

Nah doubt it fatmarky, bought it as a downgrade to afford a house, so don't wanna be spending much at all on it. Now i think about it, ill probly just get oem brakes.

Nice Grov

Very similar to mine, although you have the glass roof? Do you notice the head room is a little limited because of it?

Looks nice buddy!

Hey Chris, cheers mate.

Nah, haven't noticed mate, im only 5ft 8 so i guess i won't lol. My dad sat in the back, he's 6ft and he's got loads of room left, seems good to me! More than i was expecting.

I like the roof, my 3 year old son loves it lol, always asks me to open and close it.

Tried to get a gear gaitor on, can't fit it Type R tax disc (not paying for another Type S one) haha!

Looking at the sports front grille, looks really good i think. Also think ive got a small puncture somewhere on my rear drivers side wheel, as it was down at 18psi when i checked em after getting it home, and in 5 days it's gone from 31 psi to 26. Sods law!

Are they HID's in the type S? I thought they were, but they don't look anywhere near as bright as the DC5's one's?
