Tangerine Type S 2.2

Hi All, here is my new Type S

Have 'treated' myself to a Type S Spoiler which I then had to get painted, I then 'treated' myself to a Sports grille, and then I obviously had to 'treat' myself to a set of new blades and tyres. Poor wallet. Oh and then 'treated' myself to a civinfo sticker for the extra 5bhp.

Think im done now may look into changing the gear stick/gaiter and possibly replace the shiny dash surround with a matt one.

Love the "Tangerine", I wanted that but they stopped making it just before I placed my order

Stunning looking car. Almost bought a tangerine myself as love the colour (my previous car was a similar shade) but couldn't pass up a deal on a Milano!

Any thoughts on getting the trim colour coded?

Cheers for the comments guys, have thought about color coding but one of the reasons i chose this Tangerine one is because I think it actually goes quite nicely with the black trim...coding does look awesome tho..decisions lol

There are a few threads where people have stained the trim black too - just to throw that into the mix!

Lovely! I agree with you on the grey trim and blades are gorgeous on this colour. Should add that the dash change was one of the first things I did... that glare is awful.

Would look awesome colour coded! Even though you do like it with the black trim you'd like it so much more with it being colour coded!

I have a type S, my spoiler is just glass though, I didn't realise there are other variants of the type S spoiler

That will just be the standard rear mate as opposed to a spoiler.

Is the spoiler an optional extra from the dealer? Also if purchased elsewhere how are they fitted etc

Tastey that init ............. Blades for the win..

Yes CTS spoiler is an optional extra and is smaller than the CTR spoiler. You can get it pre-painted straight from the dealers should you choose

Ordered the Type S spoiler from cox motors (coxmotorparts.co.uk) I had to order a primed one for 160 ish + VAT then had to get someone to paint it. Most of the other colors come already painted then its just a case of preplaced adhesive strips on the back and a couple of clips (instructions included) no drilling involved with the type S one.

+1, except 5-doors weren't being made. They do exist, but very rare, I've never seen one. 2 people on the forum have them, but one is in Hungary. So I have the 2nd best colour.
