Question Steering wheel with Cruise

Hi,

Shot in the dark here but I've seen a steering wheel on eBay for 75 that has the Cruise Control feature... My 2015 1.6 S does not have this feature... If I bought it and installed it would this give my motor Cruise Control? or is it not as simple as that?

I have checked mine (no cruise control) and the wiring harness for the cruise control doesn't appear to be present. I think the speedometer cluster might be slightly different too IIRC.

I thought that would have been too good to be true as well

Looks as though I'll have to remain Cruise Controless for a while......

Some cars such as the (older model) Vauxhall Astra had wiring harnesses in place so you could equip a lower spec car with cruise control if you so desired.

I thought to reduce costs the wiring loom would be the same across the range but apparently not, Honda shooting itself in the foot though as what about those who would like to upgrade at a later date... I would have liked to add Spot Lights but there is no option for them on the light stalk but as you say, older cars seem to have these things even if they are installed or not.

Still happy with the car though as I'm getting some excellent MPG figures and considering a do Circa 25k per year, some big savings.

Front fog lamps is easy as they are an accessory for cars without them. The Main dash to front wiring is included as factory install all ready for the accessory.

I'd nee the light stalk for inside the car too as there is no option for front fogs on the one installed... I'll just live without them.

That is all part of the accessory kit.
