Courtesy Car Hmmmmm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, got my 2015 9G on Monday and noticed that there was a major scratch on the tailgate and one one on the N/S rear door...
Dealer agreed to take the car back in today for them to sort it tomorrow including a new set of Honda Floor Mats... Had to take it in tonight to get a courtesy car and noticed that there was a nice shiny 10G sitting there and I thought, Ya! Dancer!.... Noooooooooooooooooooo! Wasnae mine, got a Fiat 500. to be fair, no Man should ever have to drive one, even though it's a 17 Plate... Baseball Cap and Sunglasses tomorrow me thinks..

I know how you feel, my 8th gen has been in twice for recalls. The first time I got a 'poverty' spec 500 and the second time a punto. To add insult to injury both times I was given them with the petrol light on. The first time I didn't have my wallet on me, so had to drive 20 miles home then to the petrol station.

honda might be playing mind games with us, they give us a Courtesy Car that are no where near the comfort or looks of our hondas, so when they get your car sorted, and you pick it up you will love your honda even more

Lol, I suppose they do it to save money, but it would be nice if they gave you a different model of civic or a Honda, make sure you check the work that you have done and that you are happy with it, take photos at the time if your not happy

How is your new car compared to the 8tg gen that you used to have, do you miss anything about it,

Miss Cruise Control and the poke when you sink the fast pedal but I'm enjoying a much nicer, more modern place to sit on my 60 mile per day commute. Also liking the fact that on a mixed journey ie Urban, Country and Motorway combined I'm getting back 72 mpg compared to the max 47 on my 8G...

DAB Radio and built in Satnav are also a plus but to be fair, I do miss the old 2.2 Diesel Barge a bit .... But hey ho, it was the most reliable car I've owned for just hoping the 9G serves me as well too ...

That's good news, Hondas are moving forward with the times, and yes 60 miles a day you would want to be in a nicer place, and really good mpg, you can't go wrong, I think your new car will serve you well, and don't forget Honda owe you some floor mats
