Hello Everyone I am thinking of getting the blue spark common rail upgrade box for my 2.2 idtec. Has anyone got any experience with these and do they make any noticeable difference. Thanks.

Think I will give it a miss then. I don't fancy the cost.

not heard of remaps causing clutch problems on the 1.6
the 2.2 well that's totally different story
sure there is a few on here that did go down the bluespark box
if I was getting 1 which I might then I go for the all out top 1

I've got a dual channel Bluespark box for my 9G 1.6dtec. It's a great box with good results. The beauty of going for a box over a remap if you are concerned about your clutch is you can turn the box settings down slightly for a lower state of tune if you get clutch slippage. You can't do that with a remap.

As Craig said, you can have as little or as much torque as you like.

I've had one on my 2.2 CTDi since August and it's improved the power and economy as promised.

I have mine set at 'D6', very pleased with it. Absolutely no issues on my 108k clutch.

I got the Pro version (not Pro+) for around 160 instead of 200 by quoting the forum!
