How to lock the steering wheel

How do you lock the steering wheel after parking ? Not be able to do it hoping there’s not a problem with the wheel

Turn key to 0 and remove, presuming you mean the inbuilt steering lock.
The lock should only deactivate in key position II, whether the engine is on or not.

If you want to test, with the key in position 0, Try turning the wheel - It should "click" and lock into place as the locking pin engages; You can turn it a few degrees before that happens though.

As you haven't updated your profile with car model I'm guessing you haven't got keyless ?

If you put it in your profile, people won't have to ask. Your location would possibly be useful in some circumstances as well.

If its like mine then you need to have the steering wheel angle at 25 to 1 or 5 past 7 (clock time) when you stop (just off centre) then remove the key and have wiggle until it locks. Takes a bit of getting used to but you'll get the feel for it eventually. Hondas are not consistent because our CR-V needs the the steering wheel angle to be at half past 12 before it locks. Hope this makes sense!
