What is this part, can it be replaced?

Hey Guys,

New to the forum, and to being a Civic owner!

So my Civic has a few age related issues, but one thing that bugs me is that the door trim/seal/foam has been damaged at some point in time. It's the foam-y element that surrounds the door, and creates a seal when the door is closed.

I'd like to change it, but I've no idea how to or what the part is called! Does anyone know?

Can't link to it because I'm a newb

I think you mean the Door Seal. Yes, these are normally replaceable.

I would recommend a trip to the dealer, bring them out and show them the part and order it.

I doubt you will be able to get this cheaper, in the after market.

Worth loading pics, to help I'd parts here

Regards

Thanks, Chasesdragons. Any idea what it would cost? Not had to go back to a dealer for something like this before!

I haven't hit the post threshold yet. I have a pic ready to go!

Thank you.

Email COX MOTOR PARTS, they're in the traders section on here. Super helpful, and will give you a price.
