I've been watching a few on fleabay
They seemed to be priced well...been looking at ones circa 5-6-7k and definitely tempted!

The old shape are very nice looking cars (I was tempted, prior to buying my Civic) and I've always loved the soundtrack when owning 5 pot cars, but...

You will be in for a major shock if you are used to the Civic's boot space...

T5 engine is fuel hungry already. They don't even make the engine anymore as far as i am aware. The turbo gives good power potential.

Okay since we're talking about Volvo's, i think i would prefer a Volvo V40 as its looks stylish and the price is much lower. Your comments please?

My last car was a Volvo C30, worst car I ever owned! Avoid at all costs. Civic is a much better all-round car.

I just changed from a Volvo to a civic. Volvos are a bag of sh 1t.Avoid at all costs.
Rearly don't even consider it.
And Volvo did the T5 in an R trim that had 300 bhp as standard. Apparently most the T5 cop cars are 300.

It was riddled with electrical faults. Every other time I use it it would go into safe mode.
The air con packed in 700 quid.
EGR valve packed in 300 quid plus 100 to get software flashed.
Abs failed quoted between 2-3 grand.
Absolute croc of sh 1t.
And Volvo customer service are useless everything about the Volvo experience was bad.
Stick with Japan.
