Foot rest

Me again
The 9G EX GT dont have the aluminium foot rest like my 8G and I really like it,would an 8G one fit ?

The foot rest is part of the moulding isn't it with the plate stuck on the top forming the rest, do you have the room for this in the 9th gen ?
Myself I haven't even sat in the 9th gen so can't really answer that but would think it's a no because surely they would have put one in, as I find it really usefull on the longer runs.
