Where to put sunglasses?

I've just traded in my 8th gen 1.8 SE for an equivalent 9th gen and whilst I find it still great to drive, I've found that I've lost the little storage compartment behind the gear stick to store my sunglasses. This compartment was ever so handy.

I appreciate its very minor, but has anybody any ideas?

Does the 9G still have the centre arm rest storage compartment?

Only on the EX GT AFAIK, there is a dedicated sunglasses holder. It is located underneath the centre console lid.

Picture No 9.

This is exactly what I did with my 8G. It's better on the 9G because there is a rubber mat at the bottom to stop sliding and prevent damage.

Thanks to you all for replying. I've opted to put them in the door pocket, so theyre to hand, however I'm looking into the visor clip suggested by Geforce

The armrest cubbyhole is filled with phone charger / satnav charger leads, satnav screen mount, windscreen demister and occasionally my MP3 player

It's a good job we dont see the sun too often up north!

Don't know what we will do when the global warming thing kicks in!
