04 Honda Accord - OBD2 Port Loose

The ODB2 Port on a friend's 04 plate Accord is loose. I can just about plug in the ODB2 fob, but no lights so probably not pushed in far enough. Any ideas how I can get to it please? Googling shows that it's a common issue without any real fixes.

You sure it's actually looser than it's meant to be? Mine (54 Accord) is wobbly and the scanner plug doesn't feel fully engaged into the port but, unlike the one you mention, it does work.

Otherwise you'll obviously need to find a way of getting to the rear of the port and fixing it. Sorry, but I've never heard of anyone having to fix their's on any other Honda forum.

Truth be told, We've never used it in years of her ownership, it just never used to have any problems! The 'fob' works fine in my car and it's a secure connection.

Just doesn't feel like I can push it on properly.

My Ep3 feels like the obd2 is not on properly but it has a red light that indicates it's in.
