Declaring remap ?

Just curious as to who's declared a remap to their insurers and how much the insurance went up by ?

Cheers

Phone up your insurers and say to them you were thinking of getting a remap, make sure you've got some figures ready as they will want the expected horsepower and torque increases. I would do this as your insurers may point blank refuse to insure a remapped car.

My insurers said they would be competitive if I ever had a remap. I was just curious what others had been charged so knew what to expect... I might give them a ring.

Cheers

For me Sky wanted an extra 100 for a remap and K&N panel (30% premium loading over stock). I moved to Adrian Flux who did it for 50 extra instead.
