Adrian Flux- outstanding deal!

I know insurance has so many factors involved in the final pricing but having owned modifed cars since my early 20s Ive felt the sting of declaring mods and being turned down for insurance or quoted stupid figures.

The best quotes Ive had for years where from Bell/Admiral. Still in the 700-900 range.

After getting a deal with Adrian Flux today for around half this price, all mods covered on a like for like basis, NCB protected and fully comprehensive I feel like an idiot for not giving these guys a try earlier. They knew about how modifications work and didn't just count how may I had.

Im not often impressed with banks, salesmen or insurance companies but a happy customer today thanks to advice from CivicInfo.

I second this.

I went on gocompare etc and best of got with no mods was around the 500 mark, then 800ish with mods.

Chris knott quoted an excellent 425 with all mods declared, Brent acre 489 all mods declared but Adrian flux did me 411. I bumped it up another 33.99 though as i bought excess protection, Chris knott wouldn't offer this.

Very happy indeed.

I third this!

They beat the thr price for the cheapest policy on compare the meerkat, covered all my mods like for like and we're very helpful.

To be honest I was also impressed with premium choice, they came out the cheapest on compare the meerkat hut after I went through my current and proposed mods they suggested I go to Adrian Flux as opposed to them giving me a rip off price.

Regards

Got to hand it to Adrian Flux, they have done it again. Went with them last year as they were cheapest by a far few , and they offered me business use at no extra cost. It came to renewal time and I had done some searching several weeks before and got some good quotes, down to 279 which isnt bad for a type R, when my renewal came through it was 310 which I was a little disappointed with and due to a holiday I forgot to switch, anyways I phoned them up and not only did they get it down to 275 they kept the business cover and lowered my excess! shocking to think I was paying 1300 for a 1.4 pug 306 10 years ago!

Top guys, renewal just came through at 296. Really happy with that, all mods declared and covered like for like. That includes excess protection too!

They are very good for modified cars.. Bring on none modified cars and they are truly terrible. If you plan on changing your car mid policy check this out as it was cheaper for me to cancel a policy with a week and a half to go then swapping the car to the policy and letting it run its course. How's that for perspective!

Yeah I've added a fair few mods on during the year with no added cost at all.

I can testify to this. My old VW Scirocco Mk2 was insured with AF for a while at what I thought was a very reasonable 259 per year (classic policy) - however on renewal date, they decided to bump it up to 425. I promptly told them to get stuffed.
