Yeah, that sounds about right. Last year (25, 4yr NCB, 4yrs driving) it cost me £800 to insure a 52 Clio 1.5 cdti with 65bhp.

Always try putting on 2 older women 'additional' drivers. I have my mum and nan on my insurance and it saves me around £350 a year.

I had my Focus ST3 at 20 and putting them on saved me well over £800

Mine with all the mods is £470F/C a year. Even my old ST (full mods, coilovers and 320bhp) was only £670 F/C

I'd recommend greenlight all day long.

I'm 24, 5yrs ncb, £500 ish. Considering the 1.8 sport I had before was about £700 and the type r is £500, I couldn't say no really. More money for me to spend on boats and ho*s I guess

It also depends how many miles you plan to do and it's use. It costs me more to insure my standard Panda than my modified FD2!
