Insurance : driving another vehicle

Hi I've got a question regarding insurance, my fully comp insurance enables me to driver other cars with owners consent , my other half has canceled her insurance on her car but I will need to drive it to garage when we pick up her new car as we part exchanged it , can I drive the car legaly as the car is not insured by the owner( the Mrs ) as my policy states I can drive other vehicles ?
