Exclamation Honda Insurance

Hi,

Anyone had any quotes from Honda Insurance? Just been quoted 505, that's 225 more than my current Insurer.. They obviously don't want the business.

Neil.

Not at all surprised. I think the underwriter is one of the more expensive outfits.

Ha! my HA Van wouldn't pull the skin off a rice pudding it also had two holes punched into the floor above the O/S Axle area so that we could affix it with rope with a tourniquet as the bracket on that side was a tad corroded ... Long gone are the days you could go into a Scrap Yard and buy a runner for 100

Not the actual motor but exactly the same but with a bit more Ferrous Oxide for decoration.

As with most from that era, most will have turned to dust.... Can't remember the last time I saw anything built by BL... Metro, Maestro or Montego and they aren't that old.... Never see any though..

Had a shot of an MG Turbo Montego back in the day, at the time it felt mega rapid back then... But my 1.6 has a higher top speed by 3mph in comparison

These arrangements are just a joke. They pitch up as Mr nice guy Honda looking after all their loyal punters but really, they are just a brand using that leverage to get business for some third party insurance co whom you could probably approach direct for less withouts hondas referral rake off.

Well, just had my renewal quote in from Tesco Bank 752 Pah!.... 45yr old, being driving over 20 years and have never had a claim... Tesco no more..
Went onto Comparethemarket.com and ended up 250 for the same coverage with Quote Me Happy, yip, was very happy with that difference..

I'm with Tesco for House, Car and Pet insurance, that'll soon be changing..

Both my Type S and my modified 4x4 are around 250 full comp with protected NCB. I think the postcode plays a large part. Both with Hastings Direct.

I don't live in an area with a bad postcode... I do declare to them though that I do 25k per year and my Wife who's been driving for over 20yrs too is a named driver..... Remember to always be honest when declaring your estimated annual mileage as they will check your MOT history in the event of a claim.. I know it's just an estimate but if you're miles apart from your actual it will go against you and they deduct it from your claim.
