Flux = me quite sexually aroused!

Well, after receiving my renewal through off Aviva of 885, I couldn't believe how much it had gone up.

Last year with Aviva I paid 770, and while I appreciate insurance has gone up for everyone, I was seriously pissed off with that renewal price.

After searching through the usual places - confused, money supermarket, individual insurers - I couldn't find a better price than 850 - so I was basically ready to admit defeat and pay the price.

But then Leigh off here recommended Greenlight. Gave them a go and they couldn't give me a competitive quote but on their email they gave me a number for Adrian Flux and said they could help.

I gave them a ring and to be honest I didn't really expect much - seeing as I'd tried a quote with them a few years ago which was ridiculous. After a good 40mins on the phone listing my modifications etc etc, they came back with a quote of:

650!

I was literally like this on the phone: :O :O :O :O :O!

So yeah, I'm stunned and unbelievably happy.

Thanks to Leigh and to Flux!

I don't like Adrian Flux much, I was with them a few years ago but found them to talk crap a lot of the time. At one point they told me they don't insure type-r's, another time I was told the reason for that is because they are rear wheel drive. They also hiked my premium up 500 over night after a minor accident. On top of all that they always send me their 'Flux Babes' calendar promotions, full of absolute wrong'ens. So yeah, not a fan, but that seems like a fair price they gave you...
