Mine didn't go up one bit when I declared mine. They normally allow five mods before they charge I think.

Just had to pay 17.68 to Admiral for aftermarket wheels so all in all not too bad.

It depends on your post code and how extra nickable the car will seem to others, after the fitting of extras.

Ahhhhhh well. Mine are Type R 18's so I used that option seeing as they look the same as my 17's. It wasn't a problem when I was rear ended either and they asked about mods. I told them over the phone that they were Honda alloys and they said it made no difference.

Some companies also charge and admin fee for changes.

I got a new car and didnt get charged any extra but was told my insurance would go up about 30 quid on next renewal. Put my personal plate on yesterday and it will go down 30 quid on next renewal. Work that one out, quote me happy

No they shouldn't, direct line wouldn't let me change anything - even manufacturer upgrades when I bought the car would void my insurance but they said a colour change was fine!
