Lightbulb Hi from Gloucester

Just about to borrow a 5 door Civic 2.2 for a day as I'm considering changing my Accord for something newer. It will take some persuading as the Accord has been a great workhorse!

I have been reading through some of the great tips and debates on this site.

Any advice on the purchasing front would be most welcome (I do 500 miles a week and the car needs to be big enough to occasionally carry 5 on longer journeys although this is relatively infrequent)

Happy New Year to you all!

Welcome Dom!

The interior space, rear seat and boot, are better in the Civic than any other car in the class I have found.
Not sure about 3 adults in the back though on a long journey.

Go for the EX spec if you can, the toys are really worth it.

Stay off the Honda audio upgrades, most people agree they are a waste of money.

Check out the new car checklist in the Wiki for when you pick it up if you order.

thanks for the suggestions! I was thinking about audio upgrades... I'll take a closer look around the various threads before committing!

No doubt I'll have some questions when I've had a go at the wheel later this week
