New to forum interested in Lights for 07 CTR

Hi All,

Just bought an 07 CTR, but the lights are abit dull. Any suggestions on bulbs that give that difference, without having to modify to HID or Xenon?

I don't understand that everybody who finds the lights "dull" (it means that they give out too little light, no?) goes for crappy aftermarket bulbs...

OEM Philips or Osram H7 bulbs will give LOTS more light than those "whiteish" "5000K" "Xenon-lookalike" bulbs...

The only thing those aftermarket crap does, is shine less yellow...

Thanks. At this point I am asking for opinions and options, then will decide what's best going forward.

Welcome mate.

By dull you mean you prefer a more crisp colour or just not much vision?

It's a bit of both, the colour is yellowish and the light doesn't seem to travel a long distance.

The more white / blue you go it tends to omit less light i believe mate. Might just wanna get some osrams they tend to be pretty good ive had them in the past when i had my corsa vxr, my type r had hids so i just got 6ks which in fairness looked better but vision wasnt great.

Standard xenons on my new car which are spot on!
