Keyless entry

Hiya all just a quick message. My fella bought a 07 plate honda civic and he's been looking through manual and he's seen that if the battery ever goes flat he won't be able to get in the car or be able to pop the bonnet ? So he would just like to know what to do if ever this happens ?
Thanks for your help guys

Just use the key to manually unlock the car, there is a key hole on the drivers side

Yeah mate when I got the car one of the keys was completely dead and I wanted to check if it all still worked in the ignition (word of it wiping when it has no battery)

So I used the lock on the drivers door handle and everything was fine
