Hi all,
Just signed up guys,
On here, not as a Civic owner, but as a potential one so looking for some advice reccomendations from those who know best.
I gave up looking at Car magazines and their advice / ratings as they all seem to contradict each other.

Looking to potentially spend 12.5K max on a car, mainly for the wife. She likes the look of the Civic, as yet we have not test drove. 2 young kids so 5 door is a must.

Milage, is likely to be 10k per year max.

Any advice / reccomendations greatly appreciated.

Hi A1bertz & welcome.
I have owned my 1.8 SE for 16 months now & it still puts a smile on my face when I drive. It is the best car I have ever owned by far.
My advice is buy one & enjoy I do.

Hello and Welcome

Why not a 1.4 if it's mainly a second car and if it is for city drive, or why not the Hybrid (2nd hand car to stay in the budget) ?

I think you have come to the right place to find the right car.

I do believe that most guys on this site will recommend the Space Ship, but you should expect that from a 'Civic Owners' site.

'tis a really great machine, and you seem to have the money to get involved.

My best advice is to get down to a Honda stealer ASAP and try one out for yourself, and then you can understand YOUR thoughts, along with the vibes picked up here.

There are plenty of nice cars out there on your budget.

......but only one Civic!

......and don't forget, it should be red!
