Evening all... another newbie

Hi everyone,
have been browsing the forum for the last few nights and think it is very good and very informative. Thank you.

I am getting my first Honda (once had a motobike though) on monday or tuesday (sorry, the wife is, as I am away working for the next three weeks....damn)

I took the plunge and decided on a 1.8 Silver i-VTEC EX i-SHIFT. It seems to have all the bits that I wanted as extra's, so I am very pleased with the spec.

I can't wait to get back home and out on the road in it. Im planning trips out in it already.

Has anybody got any good advice as to "running in" a new Civic? I read a thread yesterday about the oil consumtion in new motors, so will keep an eye on that. Any other tips would be appreciated.

I suppose the first item I should get for the new steed is a Civinfo sticker and show some support for this great web site.

Thanks everyone, see you on the road in October.

As I said, I have been reading the forum for a few nights, and there are very few posts where you are not the first to welcome someone onboard.

And you know where to find the right info for us newbies staight away.

Cheers

BTW, you will love the i-Shift, its great fun. The paddles are brilliant, just one twitch of your finger and instant gear change!

A great choice of colour, they're far faster than the red ones

Thanks to everyone for the welcome.

Looking forward to getting out there in the new car ASAP.

After I ordered the car it was amazing how I started noticing a lot more Civics than I had before. I haven't seen one with a sticker on yet.
