Hi, NHB Type R from Gloucester

Hi, Im Ben, from Gloucester, and i own a NHB Type R GT, i bought it from new last November from Amethyst Cheltenham and have clocked up 13,000 trouble free miles.

Been browsing the site for the past few weeks, and the information on here is very good! Not surprised about the amount of gripes about the paint, which is disgustingly thin.

Think im on my 36th car now, most of them being old Ford RS's and Jap Turbo's. Test drove alot of similar cars to the CTR, ST3, VXR, etc, and decided that the best package was the CTR, and been quite happy, even tho its quite alot slower than previous cars ive owned

Anyway if there are any locals about, you will usually see me going from Gloucester towards Tewkesbury on the A38 and vice versa on work days!! So give us a wave!!

Luego!

Ben

No mate, Kent boy living in Bromley.

Hunted around for best price on Civic for 4 months and Knocked off £1,400 on price by travelling to get it, not bad as my ticket was £19. Drove to Oxford for a weekend break and to run it in with the missus, took our suitcases to the dealers when we picked it up!

Hello Ben. I too got my NHB CTR GT last November. Have loved every mile in it but i know what you mean about the paint.

Just come about 5 miles further north up the A38 from Tewksbury and you may bump onto me (not literally i hope)

I am usually travelling along the A38 between Upton and Worcester and/or Malvern most days.

Do you see many CTRs round your way? Not many round here.
