Hello from a new civic owner

Hey

Thought i would join this forum seing as i have just purchased a civic and i have a couple of questions.

Basically i traded my 06 Fiesta ST for a 57 civic 2.2 cdti sport.
Reason being the wife wanted a 4 door motor as we are expecting a baby.

However im very happy to be replacing it with a nice motor like the civic, should also cut down on the tossa's trying to race me in 1.2 corsas all the time.

So i have a few questions that maybe you the members could answer please.

What can i expect mpg wise for urban?

While the ST is slightly quicker 0-62 im expecting the honda to piss on it at mid range pull, am i right to think that?

What gains can i expect by getting a re-map?

Does it have a Aux connection for mp3 play?

Overall cost of ownership? what are the service intervals? and cost?
Also what warrenty do they carry is it 3 years like ford?

Thanks in advance and i look forward to posting again

Welcome

you should see between 48 and 54 mpg (average)

I'd say the honda will beat the Fiesta any time

don't know about re-maps but this should help you http://www.civinfo.com/forum/engines...ss-filter.html

Unfortunately no mp3 AUX connector

Service every year or 12500 miles, check this out for service costs Service Cost - Civinfo Wiki and warrenty is 3 years

First of all, welcome to the board. Remapping the Civic will gain around 192bhp. 0-60 in about 7.6 secs.
