Expectant owner!

Hi all,

Enjoyed looking thru this forum over the past week.

Test driving Type S this weekend with a view to upgrading from a 1.4 Clio - it will be nice to have something that can accelerate on a hill!

That tangerine orange is so tempting...

Hi Vanessa and welcome to civinfo.

Which Type S are you interested in the petrol or diesel?

Welcome ...

Oohhhh ... from a Clio 1.4 to a Civic Type S ... NO comparison ...

Are you looking at the 1.8 (using the Holy Petrol) or the 2.2 (using the "FoS") ? ...

p.s. - I was too slow in replying - AGAIN ! ...

Lol, Wheelchair - not yet, but I'm using that future possibility to justify to myself buying a bigger car!

I'd like the diesel for the extra speed (impending mid-life crisis) but my bank account says "petrol". I'll test them both and decide whether I can justify the extra for the diesel. Doing about £15k miles a year, so can't really justify on that basis.

Thanks for the welcome.

With that annual mileage, then the economics really dictate the 1.8 (the 2.2 costs more to buy, to service, and for fuel - albeit it uses less) ...

Anyway, who wants "smelly oil" over their hands and feet every time they fill the tank ? ... "FoS" - Abjuro te !!! ...

Hi Vanessa. Great upgrade. If you want to feel a bit of kick in your new car, get the Diesel.
