Ok, well you paid a decent price, not the best, but you shouldn't be upset.

There is big discussions on GAP insurance, the dealers make a fortune and it's the second biggest dealer scam after Supaguard. Personally I would have pushed for something different.

I'm always interested to know what other cars buyers looked at and why they chose the CTR, so what else did you consider? the dull as dish water focus ST?

As long as you are happy, that's the main thing!

ST

Yeah i did look at the Focus and i looked at the Astra VXR and i also looked at an Audi TT but once i test drived the CTR i fell in love with it.
And by the way 16 and a half grand was altogether with interest on finance!

If that includes interest you got a fantastic deal! depending on how much you financed of course but I'm assuming it is a significant sum.

Congratulations on buying the best looking, best engineered, best engine, best reliability, best styled hot hatch available to buy today. It's no slouch either as this group test shows, you will easily keep up with the lazy middle aged turbo crappers.

Ask away.

But you may want to try the search tool and the wiki first.

If you do take this, please be aware that some of it is now redundant ie checking the fuel cap opens. And if your savvy enough then you shoud give your new car a good going over before you get it. A good dealer should also go over the car with you too.
