Hi , Had my 2.2 for a week

Hi ,

Just a little bit about me
Married for 21 years
3 children 1 girl 2 boys ( 16, 13, 9).
Live in Sleepy Bexhill on the Sussex coast .
My wife drives a 55 reg 1.9 diesel Zafira

Bought my 2.2 EX in Alabaster with leather and panoramic roof 1 week ago . Its an 07 but 56 plate . It had 4100miles on it and I went to Alan Day Honda at Enfield. I love the car . AS you all know rides a bit firm but who cares, seats are comfortable and it puts a smile on my face each time I get in .

Few questions
1) Is there any way of improving radio reception?
2) Is the anti misting stuff any good for the lower rear screen?
3) I've got a slight mark on the silver trim on the inside of the passenger door . Is the trim easily available or easy to touch up and at what cost ? It's only a small nick but seems a shame to spoil an almost spotless car.

Hello and a very warm welcome to Civinfo! (aka the best forum on the web!)

Ask any questions you like, we’re a friendly bunch.

Great to have you aboard, and don’t forget some pictures of your car.

Radio reception is known to be poor, there is an upgrade the dealers can do though.

Hi and welcome to civinfo.

Pm some of our forum dealers for a price on a replacement part for the door.

RainX liquid is not supposed to be used on plastic, it says so on the bottle. I suspect the wipes are the same.

Having said that I have in the past used it on the plastic screen with no problems but since I read the instructions fully, I have stopped.

Welcome from Eastbourne. Good luck with your spaceship and as we share 2 great Honda dealers in our area curious to know why you bought it at Enfield.

Jazzman
I wanted a 2.2ex with leather as low a mileage and as new as poss for as little as poss . Mine is a 56 reg 07 car with 4098 miles at purchase . This was (almost ) the cheapest I could find on Hondas own approved used car search. Hence an 80 mile trip to buy
