I got so sick off visiting the garage to fill up my RX8 tank, (18 MPG!)
And got this lovely Type S GT, it's and ex-demo so it has the colour coded image pack on it and 17" wheels, they where polished alloy but had been kerbed so they blasted and powder coated them "machine grey" they look nice but the polish alloy was nicer .
I already love it to bits 42MPG on the motorway to work .
Great site with lots of helpfull info.
My old wheels, don't be smitten by the looks, yes it handles better that a Type R but they are a bit of a princess to live with, can't stop them until the engine is warm for fear of flooding it, oil needs topped up alot, heavy on the juice, very expensive service costs mine was due it 3rd year £468 + MOT + £740 2 year warrenty = Honda Type S
They are quick but just a quick are your Type R as I drag raced a few of the lights and roundabouts and it was even every time
Welcome Mark. Your car is looking good. I think tangerine is probably the only colour that looks better for not being colour coded. Think the alloys look good too.
I almost bought an RX8 4 years ago but got an EP3 instead. I must say i'm glad i didn't as it does seem to be a much less practical car for everyday use. Also with the EP3 began my love affair with Honda
I drive 60 miles round trip to work 3-7 times a week dependant on how busy we are (no very at the moment) the RX8 was the 231 and the wife wasn't too impressed (nor me) at the thought of swaping one sporty motor for another, lost a fair bit of cash this year on motors, paid £12550 for the RX in Feb got 7K trade in last week the dealers buyer told him to give me 6K but you gotta haggle, also lost 2K on the RX trade-in so I wanted a "keeper".
I love it but I think I might crash it if I don't stop playing with the gatgets
