CW CTR Ordered

Quick hello from me, My name is Mark and i have just ordered a CW CTR

I find out on Monday when its coming, but I beleive its the 19th - very very excited

I was planning on a Red CTR with 19's, but after seeing the CW in the showroom, it was love at first site. I think the wife's comments were "yeah right, what about the Accord Tourer?" - We have 3 kids, so I gues she'll be staying at home

So bye for now - will post pics when she arrives

Hi Mark

I must say, I'm very jealous. I would have loved the CW edition.

One thing I just wanted to make sure you knew - the Type-R is only a four seater, so you won't be able to travel legally with your whole family. I hope that this isn't news to you...

Yes - I thought that was what he was implying, but better to be safe than sorry. I know I'd be a bit gutted to find that out after the event if I had three kids.

I think I might just shoot over to the dealers tomorrow to see if they've got their CW demo in. I saw the launch at Brands Hatch but I would be interested to see it under natural light!

Don't! If you do, you will be a lot poorer after walking out

I don't like having people ride with me, let alone a full load, I don't like sharing the torque you see, there is barely enough for me

You could be right. I'm just waiting for the day when one goes past me on the road and I get all envious

Oh well, I'll just have to continue pimping my own. In fact, this could be my new justification to my wife. "I'm actually saving money by super-charging my car as if I didn't I'd be losing £7k on part exchange...." This could work...!

So strange you should say that, I was thinking the same. "shall I just do it, get a supercharger".

You're right, after the novelty of the new CW wears off, you would be back to square one considering mods, so let's keep modding

Novelty wearing off I hope not, well at least not for a while

Aphemia, I am aware that its only a four seater, a 3rd rear belt would have been nice, but as a family of 5 we normally take her car (206SW) as it has more room than my Bimmer. I have promised her a bigger car in the year to keep her sweet. It was finally time to have what I wanted and given the endless list out there - £20K Honda was No.1 choice.

I presume you guys have meets and what not throughout the year?

Nothing to stop you setting your own up mate! Three of us organised a very small meet over Christmas (see the South Mimms photos) so nothing to stop you setting a date and posting something up. If I can be there, I will!

Hi Mark,

Welcome to the forum,
You must be counting the days, after buying my brand new CTR in DBP they made me wait a week which was bad enough...its definitely worth the wait and driving out the dealers in a brand spanker is just the best feeling!!

Looking forward to the pics....

take it easy

Paul
