Hi from Portugal

Hi all!

Happy to find the forum!

My family history with Honda is quite good!

5 cars ins the past. Currently my mother has one, my father other and my brother other!

Im considering one to now.
My first civic was one from my father LSi 1.5 from 1992 loved that car!

The thing is here in portugal taxes are a robery!

Type-s arrived to Portugal 2 weeks ago! We only had 5 door models, and type-r of course! (would like to by the type-r but 38.000 euros its to mutch)

Just for you to know, type-s has only one version here: the 1.4

The start price is 22.650 Euros()
We dont have the 1.8, and no diesel!

hope to make friends here in the forum!

Civic rules,

Hi Mate, don t worry yu re not the only country suffering from ridiculous car taxes. At least we had a revision last year and things have gone a bit better. I was quoted 40 000 euro for a milano gt at the end of october last year but after the revision of registration tax in malta and a sharp drop in the pound sterling s value, i will be paying 27 000 euro for my brand new championship white ctr next tuesday.

There is a portuguese Civic owner that bought his Civic in Spain, and he said it was a good saving even after paying international taxes and driving his car to Portugal. You can check it in www.clubhondacivic.com :: Indice

Good luck!
