Cool Greetings from a Vampire Civic Driver

Hello everyone,

I'm Confaya Jammer, a Vampire Musician from Transylvania, currently haunting the streets of Coventry, UK. First time Honda owner here, so I decided to join the forum and find out more about my 07 Civic EX iShift aka The Dracula Mobile Already ordered my CivInfo sticker for it, heheheee!

So, I've been doing a bit of research on the 8th gen forum and managed to solve some mysteries, but I still need to find out how much HP this beast has I'm doing 0-62 in under 5s and Evans Halshaw just told me that the vehicle has '140hp' Can anyone recommend some tuning experts in the West Midlands? Would be much appreciated!

See y'all around!

Hello, i can see its already been lowered and appears to have wheel spacers, any other mods?

you will probably struggle to get more than 150HP out of this unless you opt for the turbo or super charger which will cost you around 5000 when you have upgraded everything you need

Hello Grossey, I'm not aware of any other mods since the dealer was unable to tell me anything useful. I did check and asked my mechanics to have a look as well and they couldn't find anything out of the ordinary.

Like I said before, the car is surprisingly fast for what it is and I've had quite a few 'better, newer' cars try to keep up with me without even a chance. Is there any remap that could have been done? I'd take it somewhere to find out the actual HP if there are any good places around Coventry that do Honda mods.

By the way, thanks a lot for your reply! You're the only member so far who took their time to offer some advice.

Blimey - 5 Seconds is immense (Faster than FK8 CTR) - What are you using to measure? Is it in minutes? ( )

Any shots inside the bay? If the engine isn't turboed, you have an interior, and there isn't a NOS tank in the boot I want to see the hill you're using

This was done roughly a year ago while starting from still after waiting at some traffic lights on a road near me. Had my passenger time it at around 5s so unless we miscalculated it, then it should be the real deal.

One thing I did notice is that the car might've been tuned in Poland so maybe they did a remap or something crazy there. Will take it to a garage and do the works to find out soon.

I had a 911 that did 0-62 in about 5seconds. No way your car is under 5seconds, even with flux capacitors.lol

I appreciate everyone's comments and the fact that this conversation finally got some replies. Nice little banter we got going.

On a serious note, where would it be best for me to take this Frankenstein-mobile to have it checked and do a dyno, etc? Cheers!

I'm guessing engine, wheels, chassis and driver's seat are all that's left

I'm only serious about the last bit. As in, what's the best place to go and do all the checks in my area. I'm not the best when it comes to modding cars as this one's my first 100+ bhp vehicle. Only had small engines due to insurance prices being too high. Any recommendation would be much appreciated 😀

So I found a video from the day I bought the car and I have inserted some snapshots here. Can you tell if the engine has been modded in any way? I've done some research and it looks like it might've been...or not? Cheers!

that looks pretty standard to me, i think the average 0-60 for a 1.8 is about 9 seconds
