Track day

Hi everyone, I'm brand new to all this, I had a track experience day in March and now i'm hooked, I bought a 2011 honda civic type r last week and have my 1st track day on Friday, but I was wondering if my car will be within the 100db noise level for the track? As far as I'm aware it has no modifications, it's just the standard factory faitted exhaust, can anyone help me?

If you know anyone with a sound pressure meter then you can check how loud it is yourself, with someone elses help.

Otherwise I don't think they are that expensive to buy, plus I don't think yours will too loud for most tracks any way.

But you have to remember that most tracks nowadays use active sound testing whilst on track as well, but you should be fine so long as you don't get black flagged for it. If you do then work out/find where on track the sensor is and back off when you pass it.

If your car has a standard exhaust it should pass a 100db noise test easily.
