New member, 2009 EX GT question

Hey guys, thought I'd introduce myself on here.

Purchased an 09 EX GT 2.2 i-cdti in Galaxy Grey (I think. It's more of a bronze/grey) last Saturday and I'm picking it up this weekend.
It's a stunning car with all the add-ons
•black leather heated seats
•Sat nav
•Bluetooth
•sunroof
•parking sensors
Etc

Just a question regarding the spec. Now I know it's a facelift as its 09. But could someone please tell me;-

1 - what are the differences with facelift models appart from the front and rear bumpers

2 - I can't seem to find any spec for the EX GT. only EX. Could someone point me in the right direction or even tell me what the differences between the EX and EX GT..?

Thanks in advance and this seems a very well put together forum

Thanks for the welcome. I'm from Neath pal.

Another question to the ones above. Anyone know the USB socket will play and charge my iPhone or will I need to use the Aux-in?

Thanks

Hi and welcome... I had an 09 EX-GT... can't beat the top of the range Civic IMHO.

When the 09 face lift was done, the EX lost the Sat Nav. The EX-GT has it plus glass roof, leather with heated seats and fully integrated reversing sensors.

Yes, the USB socket does charge and allows to to control the iPhone from the Sat Nav/Steering wheel.

Hi Archer K83

It's a small world, but just come back from a hol in n wales and it rained all the time! Also I had arranged a test drive of a 2.2 EX GT for when i got back only to be told that they had sold it....still I sourced another one in Boston - in my MUST-HAVE Polished Metal Metalic,2010, so went up there last week and got it - job done. The EX GT differs from the EX in that it has DVD sat nav and blue tooth phone,HID headlamps,Headlight washers and auto adjusting headlights. All pretty useless 'cept the sat nav which is top notch. Shouldn't take more than a couple of months to get to grips with it allIt's a beautiful drive, with the 2.2 returning 62mpg. I've been checking out the footwell blue lighting - again pretty useless - just can't see it! and it only comes on when you put the lights on not when you open the doors - which of course it should do. Next, I must source a space saver spare wheel - if I haven't got one i'm bound to get a puncture.

cheers

Aquilaboy,- Thanks a bunch for the response. Yes I loved the spec on the car and can't wait to get it this weekend. Yes, a space saver is a must do! Surprised there isn't one fitted mind! Or an inflation kit....?

Bog,- that's great news about the USB socket - no more crappy FM transmitter!!!!

Once I get back home on the weekend I will be 'supporting' and getting a sticker.

Anybody know where I can get a 2009 owners manual? .pdf format?

Wiki only has 2006 and Honda said they only sell them at dealers

Thanks

ArcherK83: You should get an air compressor & bottle of sealant with the car, it will be in the boot behind the right hand panel.

Also the attached may be of use to you, enjoy the car...

Ah yes, an inflation kit is fitted, thanks

Thanks for the attachment, however I was after the actual owners manual '2009 version'. Thanks though
