Hi Julian,

Welcome to the forum. Think that your initial post with remap figures is Nm for torque.

450 Nm = 331.9 lbs/ft

450 lbs/ft would tear an OEM clutch to shreds, and I would drive to France for a remap with that sort of power !

How is your clutch, btw ?

And what mileage/km has your car done ?

Hi,
My clutch is OEM for the moment., I will buy the Cg Motorpsort ( new 8 paddle) in 3 months. My clutch is in limit
450Mn is my configuration for the 1st 2nd 3rd. And I had to rein the 4th 5th 6th was 430nm because my cltuch slipping ( 6 months after my remap).
My civic at 19883.88milles or 32000kms.
If I have money, I'll change my turbo with a hybrid. (220hp).

Hi Julian,

I can highly recommend CG, I had a 6 paddle & new dmf fitted back in August.

Then, Celtic Stage 2 remap, EGR on, producing 206 bhp / 336 lbs/ft (455.5 Nm), and new rubber, Goodyear Eagle F1 Assymetric 2's.

Still can't get the power down in 1st & 2nd, even in the dry !

My '56 Type S is coming up for 100k miles !

Have you done anything with your brakes or handling ?

Mmmm, after market turbo..., struggling to justify the expense for such a small increase in power, though !

Regards,

Neil

btw, love the colour of your car.

Cg motorsport is the only company able to provide a reinforced clutch as I know.
I don't know anyone in France that a clutch cg motortspor.
For brakes, I'll get more powerful brakes, I do not know which. Then, frame reinforcements in front and rear.
Wheels Asa gt3 black in 18" whith toyo sport tires.
