Roll on Wednesday . . .

Hi folks. I find myself here after a six-month flirtation with a Focus CC. A fantastic-looking car, with the roof up or down, and brilliantly responsive to a dab of the right foot. But it leaked, creaked and rattled. Iíll not bore you with all the gory details but after breaking my heart she had to go.
I got a full refund two weeks ago and went on the hunt again.
Iíve never owned a Honda but the Civic looks an absolute cracker.
Thanks for all the helpful info on the forum which helped me make a decision. Iím picking up my Milano Red 1.8 EX with glass roof and leather on Wednesday. Canít wait!

Enjoy your new car, hope you don't miss the convertible too much once the summer comes round again.

Cheers! Sad to say I didn't get much use out of the convertible. It was either tipping it down or the car was back at the dealer's while they failed miserably to correct the faults.
I went for the glass roof option on the EX as the next best option. Ideally I would have liked at least part of the glass to open but there's probably a very good reason why that's not an option. Looking forward to playing with all the toys though. I've bought a Bluetooth phone for the HFT and I'll be checking that the fix has been made on the microphone. I've printed out the checklist from the forum - very useful.

You'll love the car, even though the roof doesn't come off, I bet it'll attract more attention that the focus

Why a convertible? Mid-life crisis! I have to say, on the rare occasions the sun was shining and I had the lid down, bombing through the glens of the Highlands, it was simply magnificent.
Before deciding on the Civic I considered the Astra Twintop and the Volkswagen Eos, but neither was a patch on the Focus. If only F*rd/Pininfarina hadn't got the first batch of cars so badly wrong. Ah well...

Absolutely superb. Will post more info later - I'm off out to play. The missus has been driving about in it all day - now it's my turn. Just too bad it's dark and raining.
