Which "budget" double din ?

This double din mod has been on the back burner for a while now but I'm now feeling the peer pressure from some guys at work buying screens lol

I'm now looking at a couple of budget screens and would like to know if anyone has any experience or knowledge of either screen.
Any info would be much appreciated.

One screen is Pioneer AVH-X2500BT Double Din Built in Bluetooth DVD AV Unit 6.1" Touchscreen
The other is Kenwood DDX-42BT Car CD DVD Double Din Stereo Bluetooth iPod iPhone 6.1" Screen

I'm a pioneer man at heart but the kenwood looks like it has a better user interface and graphics.

I'm after something that doesn't look cheap and I can connect I'm iphone to. I can find reviews of the pioneer one online but can't really find much in the way of reviews when it comes to the kenwood :/

Seen the app radio 2 on offer at 149.99 but I've been told it's useless without an iPhone. I don't mind too much as I have an iPhone 5 but does that mean every time I get in and out the car I have to plug my phone in and out ? This could become quite annoying if just nipping in and out of places.
Also I assume it would cane my internet download allowances on my contract ?

well think there are issues with the android lot but like you am apple so dont care lol. as to data usage only if you use loads now? you can disable it or are you leaving it on just now in your pocket? Remeber though you will need the fascia plate and depending where you get it the prices vary wildly..... halfords wanted 300 odd.... you can get online for about 70 give or take.

I always leave mine on and I don't know if I could be bothered to keep plugging and unplugging the phone if I'm just out and about lol I'd probably just leave the phone in my pocket and not plug it in unless I'm going to be in the car for a while.

I've looked at the fascias on the net and with the patch lead they're around 115 from what I've seen.
